Napoli Takes First Steps in Pursuit of Garnacho from Man United
Recent reports indicate that the Italian club Napoli is slowly withdrawing from its pursuit of Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho. The Naples-based team is actively seeking a new winger, as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia plans to move to PSG.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed in his report that Garnacho remains a concrete transfer target for Napoli. Napoli coach Antonio Conte admires Garnacho's exceptional talent and sees great potential in his young career, making Conte eager to add him to the team.
However, according to Romano, Napoli is pulling out of the race for Garnacho due to Manchester United’s high asking price. The Red Devils demand no less than £70 million for the winger. Napoli finds this price too high and Manchester United refuses to negotiate. As a result, Napoli has begun stepping away from their pursuit of Garnacho.
Reports in Italy suggest that Napoli has already identified another candidate for the wing position. The Partenopei are now focusing on signing Timo Werner from Tottenham as Kvaratskhelia's replacement.
