Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi will square off for the 6th match of the ongoing Pakistan T20 League. The game will be hosted at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, February 21. 

Karachi lost their inaugural match against Multan Sultans by 55 runs. KAR bowled first in the match and conceded a target of 185 runs. Their bowlers only managed to take two wickets and this is a point they will look forward to improving in this match.

Also, their batters didn’t show up well while chasing down the total. Veteran player Shoaib Malik was the highest scorer with 53 runs under his belt. He received almost no help from the other end which resulted in their quick collapse. They need to bounce back in this match before things get messier in the later part of the tournament.

On the other side, Peshawar lost their first match of this league season by a margin of 16 runs against Quetta Gladiators. While bowling first, PES conceded 206 runs in the first innings of the game. Salman Irshad was the star of the bowling side with three wickets to his name out of a total of five collected by the team as a whole. 

The Zalmi batters refused to give up on the match. Skipper Babar Azam led from the front smashing 68 runs during the runchase. Saim Ayub also scored 42 runs off 26 deliveries but failed to chase down the mammoth total. Peshawar will look forward to improving their performance in their next fixture.
