Preview

The Tamil Nadu T20 League is up and running with all teams fighting hard to capture the top spot. Nellai Royal Kings started this league season with two thumping wins but lost their last encounter against Idream Tirupur Tamizhans. On the other hand, Salem Spartans lost their first match but made a great comeback to win their last match. They would now try hard to replicate the same performance to keep up on the winning track. 

The NRK side was down for just 124 runs against ITT in 18.2 overs. Sonu Jadav (35 runs) scored the most along with Ajitesh (20) and R Eashwaran (15) contributed with their small cameos. Their top order was washed off completely for 49/5 at the halfway of the game. Their batting side needs to be more careful while trying out shots in order to get a good score. 

Their bowlers also failed miserably against the ITT batters. The opponents won the match with 10 balls to spare. The bowling duo of Sonu Yadav and Lakshay Jain picked up three crucial wickets in the middle overs.  Sandeep Warrior needs to be careful as he gave away too many runs. L Vignesh was economical in his 2 over tenure.

SS chased down a decent total of 139 runs in just 15.2 overs having 6 wickets in hand. Kaushik Gandhi was the star of the show scoring 52 runs off 32 balls hitting 3 fours and three sixes. Amit Sathvik also provided good support with his cameo of 22 runs before the top order collapsed with three wickets falling. 

Their bowlers successfully restricted the opposition batters. Skipper Abhishek Tanwar was the top wicket-taker having three wickets under his belt along with Sunny Sandhu and Ravi Karthikeyan picking a couple of wickets each.

SS have powerful arms in their batting side with inform players like N Gandhi and Maan Bafna who are experienced players in the Tamil Nadu T20 League history.
