The 9th match of the Tamil Nadu T20 League will be played between the Lyca Kovai Kings and the Chepauk Super Gillies. The match is scheduled at the NPR College Ground in Dindigul on Monday, June 19. 

With two consecutive wins in this season of the league, CSG are in the tremendous form before taking on the joint-defending champions Lyca Kovai Kings. The batting and bowling sides have been outstanding in their jobs which made the Narayan Jagadeesan-led side look solid so far in this tournament. They are going to be a huge opposite force for the Kovai Kings if they attempt to replicate the similar style of cricket they have been playing so far.  

The home side, on the other hand, won the inaugural encounter against Tiruppur Tamizans but lost the second match by 4 wickets against the Nellai Royal Kings. The latter managed to get the victory in a last-ball thriller and thus the LKK side would be eager to get back on the winning track in the upcoming game.
