Tristan Stubbs, Marco Jansen earn South Africa central contracts

South Africa has expanded its list of centrally contracted players this year, with Tristan Stubbs, Marco Jansen, Bjorn Fortuin, Sisanda Magala, and Ryan Rickelton being added to the roster. Additionally, Heinrich Klaasen, who received an upgraded contract in the previous season, will retain his new grade, and Wayne Parnell has returned to the contracts list, which has now grown from 16 to 20 players.

Enoch Nkwe, the Director of Cricket, stated that the enlarged contracts list was indicative of South Africa's strategy to have specialised players for both white-ball and red-ball formats."The number of contracted players has increased from 16 to 20 this season to ensure that we have a wider pool of white-ball specialists and Test players," he said. "We look forward to seeing them compete at the highest level in what is an important next 12 months for the limited-overs and Test sides, with the [ODI] World Cup taking place later this year as well as the start of the new World Test Championship cycle."

South Africa men's contracts list: Temba Bavuma, Quinton de Kock, Dean Elgar, Bjorn Fortuin, Reeza Hendricks, Heinrich Klaasen, Marco Jansen, Sisanda Magala, Keshav Maharaj, Aiden Markram, David Miller, Lungi Ngidi, Anrich Nortje, Wayne Parnell, Keegan Petersen, Kagiso Rabada, Ryan Rickelton, Tabraiz Shamsi, Tristan Stubbs, Rassie van der Dussen
