UAE will host West Indies in the third and final ODI match of the series. The visitors are 2-0 up in the series and will now eye a cleansweep. With nothing but pride to play for, the hosts will be keen to end the series on a positive note. 

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Windies posted a formidable total of 306. Brandon King continued his good form with bat in hand and scored another half century; his second on the bounce. He enjoyed good support from his opening partner Johnson Charles at the other end, who also scored a half century. The duo provided a perfect launching pad for the likes of Kavem Hodge and Odean Smith. Important contributions from the lower order propelled the Windies to a competitive total. Zahoor Khan (3/44) was the pick of the bowlers for UAE.  

The hosts in reply could only muster 228 runs on the board in their quota of 50 overs. Besides Ali Nasser (57) and Basil Hameed (49), no other UAE batter looked comfortable against West Indies’ bowling prowess.
